Digital marketing audit

Find out where your budget is leaking.

A fixed-price review of your ad accounts, tracking, landing pages and SEO. You get a written report with the problems we found, what each one is likely costing you and the order to fix them in, plus a call to walk through it. No obligation to hire us afterwards.

Why an audit

Spending every month without knowing what works.

Marketing tends to underperform quietly, while the budget keeps going out.

  • Set and forgotten

Campaigns were set up once and then left.

  • Broken tracking

Conversion tracking stopped working after a website change and nobody noticed.

  • Inflated numbers

Reported “conversions” turn out to include page views and button clicks.

  • Unclear next step

You are thinking of changing agency, hiring or raising the budget without knowing what is actually wrong.

How we approach it

  • Show which campaigns are wasting money.
  • Check whether your numbers can be trusted.
  • Find where visitors drop off and what holds back your search visibility.
  • Hand you a written report to fix yourself, give your team, or ask us.
What we review

Five areas, one written report.

  • 01

    Google Ads

Account structure, search terms and negatives, match types, bidding strategy, Performance Max settings, ad copy, location and schedule targeting, and how spend is split between what brings leads or sales and what doesn’t.

  • 02

    Meta and LinkedIn ads

Campaign objectives, audiences and overlap, creative fatigue, placements, lead form quality and the pixel or Conversions API setup on Meta, plus targeting and lead gen forms on LinkedIn.

  • 03

    Tracking and attribution

GA4 configuration, key events, conversion tracking in each ad platform, Google Tag Manager, cookie consent for UK and EU visitors, and whether the conversions being counted are real enquiries or sales.

  • 04

    Landing pages and conversion rate

The pages your ads and search traffic land on: speed on mobile, message match with the ad, forms, calls to action, trust information and where visitors leave, using your analytics data.

  • 05

    SEO health

Indexing and crawl errors in Search Console, Core Web Vitals, titles and structured data, duplicate or thin pages, and the search terms you rank for compared with the ones that matter to your business.

  • 06

    Written report and walkthrough call

A plain-English report listing each problem, the evidence, its likely impact and the fix, sorted into quick wins and larger jobs. Then a call to go through it, answer questions and agree what to do first.

How the audit runs

From access to a report you can act on.

Most of the work happens in your accounts with read-only access. You don’t change anything, and nothing we look at leaves your control.

  1. 1

    Within 7 working days

    Scope, NDA and fixed price

A short call about your goals, markets and channels. We sign an NDA before the first call if you want one, then send a written proposal with the areas to cover, the fixed price and the delivery date.

  2. 2

    Day 1

    Read-only access

You add us as a read-only or analyst user in Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, GA4, Tag Manager and Search Console. We don’t ask for passwords and we don’t change any setting.

  3. 3

    Days 2–8

    Review

We go through each account and page in scope, test the tracking by making real form fills and clicks, and note every problem with a screenshot or data to back it. AI helps sort search terms and spot patterns; people check every finding.

  4. 4

    Days 8–10

    Written report

You receive the report with prioritised fixes, each marked by likely impact and effort, and a note of who could do it: you, your current team or a developer.

  5. 5

Within a week of the report

    Walkthrough call

A video call at a time that suits your time zone to walk through the findings and answer questions. After that, you decide what happens next. There is no obligation to work with us.

Is this for you

Who should get an audit, and who shouldn’t.

A good fit if

  • Businesses spending on Google, Meta or LinkedIn ads without clear results
  • Teams about to change agency, hire a marketer or raise the budget, who want facts first
  • Owners who suspect their tracking or reports can’t be trusted
  • In-house teams that want an outside check on their setup

Probably not for you if

  • Businesses with no ads, analytics or website traffic yet: there is nothing to audit, so start with a plan instead
  • Anyone looking for a free sales pitch: this is a paid, written piece of work
  • Teams that can’t give read-only access to their accounts
Pricing

How much does a marketing audit cost?

A fixed price, agreed in writing before we start, based on how many channels, accounts and markets are in scope. A single Google Ads account costs less than a full review of ads, tracking, landing pages and SEO. You keep the report whatever you decide next, and if a deliverable doesn’t match the agreed scope, we fix it at our cost.

Starting from $49

FAQ

Questions we’re asked.

  • A structured review of your paid ads, tracking, landing pages and SEO to find what is wasting money, what is broken and what is missing. With us it ends in a written report of prioritised fixes and a call to walk through it.

  • Account structure, search terms and negative keywords, match types, bidding, Performance Max settings, ad copy, targeting, conversion tracking and how the budget is split. Each finding comes with the evidence and a suggested fix.

  • Typically around two weeks from getting access to delivering the report, depending on how many channels and accounts are in scope. The walkthrough call follows within a week.

  • No. Read-only or analyst access is enough for the review. We don’t change settings, pause campaigns or touch your budget during an audit.

  • No. The report is yours to use however you like: fix things yourself, pass it to your current agency or in-house team, or ask us for a proposal. There is no obligation either way.

  • Yes. We check the GA4 setup, key events, Tag Manager, cookie consent and the conversions each ad platform counts, and test them with real form fills and clicks to see whether the numbers match what actually happened.

  • It will show where money is being wasted and what each fix is likely to affect, but we won’t promise a figure. Results after the fixes depend on your market, offer and how the changes are made.

  • It is a fixed price based on the channels, accounts and markets in scope, agreed before we start. We send the proposal within 7 working days of a short call.
